Quartet CoryFeye

The CoryFeye quartet is born from the meeting of young musicians winners of the Royal Conservatories of Brussels and music university of Leipzig and Karlsruhe. The CoryFeye quartet studies since the beginning with members of the Danel Quartet.

From 2011 to 2013, the quartet is part of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel where they are improving with the Artemis Quartet. They also received advices from different artists: Eberhard Feltz, Valentin Erben (Alban Berg Quartet), Petr Prause (Quartet Talich), the Allegri Quartet, Jean-Marc Bourret (Quartet Castagneri), Wolfgang Boettcher (Quartet Brandis), Joseph KLUSON Vaclav Remes (Pražák Quartet), Matthias Lingenfelder (Quartet Auryn) Natalia Prischepenko and Heime Müller (ex Artemis Quartet), Luigi Vecchioni (Manfred Quartet), Alan George (Quartet Fitzwilliam), Hartmut Rhode (Mozart Piano Quartet) and Jean Sulem (Rosamond Quartet). They performed in many venues in Belgium: MIM, Flagey, Bozar, the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music, Theatre Mercelis, Goldmuntz Center of Antwerp, Palais des Beaux-Arts of Charleroi, as well as in France, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Italy and Poland during festivals. 

Since 2009 the quartet also ensures part of the International School of Humanities Classics Schola Nova where they teach and give many concerts, also for young audiences. In the summer of 2010 the quartet CoryFeye gave twelve concerts in France greeted by the press. They had the opportunity to work with contemporary composers like Philippe Boesmans and Peter Eötvös at the Ars Musica festival. They performed quintet and sextet with many artists like pianist Lucas Blondeel, Amandine Savary, Pavel Kolesnikov, Antoine de Grolée, Christia Hudziy Julien Libeer, Matthieu Normand and Boyan Vodenitcharov, violinists Elina BUKSA, Clara Abou, Thomas Gautier and Serge Verheyleweghen, violists Paul De Clerck, Petr Holman and Barbara Giepner, clarinetists Jean-Michel Charlier, Pascal Moraguès and Jean-Luc Votano, cellists Marie Hallynck Vladimir Fortin, Dorothea von Albrecht and Guy Danel and thereminist Thorwald Jørgensen.

In 2012 the CoryFeye Quartet played in several famous festivals like: Festival de l'été Mosan, Festival de Musique de Menton, Festival Proquartetto of Tournai and Midis Minimes in Wavre, Leuven and Brussels. In November 2012 they perform at Flagey in the festival "À la Française" and for the second time at Bozar in the Midis of ONB. The CoryFeye quartet has participated at several concerts broadcasted by radio Klara and Musiq 3.

 The CoryFeye quartet is known by "Art and Life" tours of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and has been selected by the Musical Youth to present a program on the Danube during the 2013-2014 season. By making their interpretations as vibrant as possible they hope to communicate their passion to a wide audience with the enthusiasm that characterizes them.

The quartet has just recorded at Arte Sanitas the complete works for string quartet by Georg von Albrecht.
